The Client Services Professional is responsible for maintaining product configurations for insurance carriers. The team also works with user groups to resolve questions, assess needs and recommend changes. Other responsibilities our Client Professionals have is to prepare specifications for system changes, execute product and content changes, and perform unit/release testing and quality assurance functions. Daily duties for the Client Services Professional include but are not limited to project coordination, bug management, system configuration, testing, software life cycle management and heavy client management. We are looking for an individual can thrive in a fast pace, self-driven environment with a fun group.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify client requirements, define scope of project and timeframes for completion, develop specifications and prepare necessary documentation
  • Translate user requirements into Software Design Documents
  • Perform data research and analysis to ensure client data accuracy
  • Schedule client implementations
  • Carry out product maintenance for new and existing products
  • Manage client projects through the Software Development Cycle
  • Collaborate with users and clients on usability and functionality enhancements
  • Provide technical support to clients
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Adept with mapping and system integration
  • Coordinate with internal Ebix teams for purpose of integrations or troubleshooting
  • Become subject matter expert in given technical system

Minimum Requirements

  • 4-year college degree required
  • 3+ years of work experience
  • Methodical critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
  • Excellent communication, both in-person and on the telephone, as well as in written correspondence
  • Good interpersonal skills, and team leadership with a customer-focused, relationship-driven attitude
  • Must have strong aptitudes to learn new technical skills
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript and SQL desired
  • Working knowledge of Windows client/server environments

Preferred Requirements

  • Insurance/financial services industry knowledge
  • Part experience in customer or client service roles
  • Experience with Web-based software as a service (SaaS) applications
