Job Description:

Members of our technical support team are responsible for fielding calls and e-mail requests from customers seeking assistance with our Risk Management insurance web-based applications. Our technical support analysts use their software and computer knowledge combined with their Risk Management and P &C knowledge to provide timely and accurate solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Technical Support Analyst will develop a strong understanding of Ebix’s products to effectively troubleshoot issues and provide accurate solutions to our customers. Throughout the client engagement, the Technical Support Analyst will:

  • Perform data extractions and data loads in a production environment
  • Complete database configuration for new client implementations
  • Investigate production database processing issues to make recommendations for remedies
  • Research using tools including, SQL Manager and Crystal Reports to resolve client reported issues for Web based Applications running on SQL and Oracle databases
  • Communicate with clients, state agencies, account managers, customers, and development teams to support client implementations and application enhancement
  • Provide updates on production issues, as well as documentation of new processes and procedure changes

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Applications or Computer Information Systems or Equivalent +3 years’ experience in job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience accepted

Experience Recommended:

  • Technical support or customer service experience is a plus
