Job Description:

Ebix, Inc. is offering an exciting opportunity to a talented and motivated individual interested in software development. The Software Developer/Architect is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of software projects.

Responsibilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full stack experience required (3+ years)
• C#, C++, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Python, SQL helpful but not required
• A good understanding of web security principles
• Must be able to work with project stakeholders to scope and document design specifications

Experience Recommended:

• 3+ years of experience developing software
• Software build and deployment
• Project Management experience desirable
• Insurance industry experience helpful but not necessary

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Work experience may be substituted for degree
